Yeah I hope Habbo US are learning from the mistake of letting kids as young as 13 be Hobbas. I'm not saying that all people under 18 are really immature, but you're much more likely to get people acting like that if you let everyone apply. If you only let people apply once they're 18, you'll find that the people who have stuck around and still want to be Hobbas are the ones who will take the role seriously and NOT abuse their powers. Having said that, you still get the odd bad egg, but you have much fewer to weed out that way.

WE ARE NOT AS IMMATURE AS PEOPLE WHO ARE IN THERE 18'S AND UP. Im 13 and i know alot of 17-18 yr olds and some of them they are really immature. All they like to do is be all uptight. :@

Today when i was in brojos old manager suite i received an alert and was muted because I said "Breaking the habbo way is a one way ticked to hotel view" I was instantly muted then received an alert from a hobba telling me to shut it wow so mature :rolleyes:

I didn't say all 13 year olds were immature. I have a few friends on Habbo UK who are 13 or 14 and they are very mature and nice people. In fact in my original post I did say:

Yes, I am also willing to acknowledge also that there are many people who despite having reached 18 are still extremely immature (I could name a few myself...). However by 18 MOST people have matured. Again, I did in fact state in my original post:

Surely you yourselves must acknowledge that a lot of your classmates are still quite immature and the idea of them being Hobbas makes your blood run cold. Do you think that by the time those people are 18 the majority of them will be more mature? (Don't tell me there are no people like that - I help out in a year 8 maths class and there are some real horrors in it.)
Also I should have said in my original post that really if you're under 18 you should be focusing on your school work and not feel obliged to come to an online community for several hours each day. I've only just found the right balance between school, my "real" life, and Habbo myself, and if I had become a Hobba at 16 or younger I would probably have failed all my GCSEs and AS levels.

you clearly dont understand Habbo US wanted to change the age but couldnt as the us laws said it has to be 13 so maybe uk wont because our law is different you should know that.

Yeah, the Hobbas have plenty to deal with without extra calls for help from people who have been muted or alerted for no reason.

I've never heard of a law that says you havr to be allowed to moderate a virtual chat room once you're 13 or older. And I don't go on .com anymore because you have hobbas who are rampant. I wouldn't want my kids to be on a site where 13 year olds would be protecting other kids from pedos and such. It's a good experience for younger kids to be hobbas, and some like Jamie are great hobbas, but most are abusing their powers. I completely agree with Black Garden.
