    I've had contacts for around a year now and there far better than glasses. I was reccomended to get them as I play a lot of sport and couldn't see a great deal of what was going on. :p

    At first it's weird but after a week or 2 your eyes will get used to them. Just don't drop them as you won't be able to find them again. :p

    No! Whatever you do, don't wear those daily. Use them for special occasions, trust me, you look extremely stupid wearing cat eye contacts every day, what if you saw some guy you liked, you walk up to him;
    You: Hey
    Him: *** IS WRONG WITH YOUR EYES? GO AWAY!

    Lol, they're alright every now and then.

    I'm getting contactssoon, just normal ones. My eyes are naturally blue so I don't need blue contacts for the summer like some other person on this forum does, who mentioned in this thread.

    I didn't get on well with contacts. I gave up. I'm such a quitter.

    Contacts are very comfortable to use. Prescription cxontacts are usually Soft Lenses, which are almost unnoticeable.

    Special FX contacts are Hard Lenses, which are tougher than Soft Lenses and are not intended for every-day use, unless they're prescription HArd Lenses.

    I love contact lenses. ;p I have prescription ones, but I've owned color contacts, and effect contact. The ones that bothered me the most were some Black Sclera ones I bought which look very very cool, but they cover your entire eye (white part = sclera) so they are VERY uncomfortable.
