the thing is some people might have a slow connection and their computer may not be so good

I don't think there's alot of point in doing that. I think it will cause more lag around the hotel and besides, if people want to listen to music they can go to habbox radio or habbohut.

Adding simple soundtracks to habbo wouldn't be so bad. If they used very small, very low quality sound files like the ones used on cokemusic.com it could be done but doing that would cause upsets between Coke Studios and Habbo Hotel. I think a lot of cokemusic players would come to habbo if it got music because they can listen to music like on CS and play a better game with a larger selection of furni.
Making an mp3 player for habbo wouldn't be so bad. If it was comprised of certion things:
-A limited number of songs (say 5)
-Very small sound files and lower then average quality of songs
-User song selection
-Only you can hear the music from your mp3 player
-Easy song changing and pausing without mouse clicking (like alt codes)
This could possible be done but I doubt Sulake Ltd. ever would because they would lose cokemusic customers and it might turn away newcomers.
But wouldn't it just save a load of lag and bother for each Habbo themselves to download winamp or winmed etc, and play their own music? That way, the music isn't relayed over the Habbo server, saving lag and time, plus the habbo themselves gets to listen to their own music. What's the advantage or benefit of Habbo relaying little gameboy style tunes rather than someone playing them on their own computer? If they want 'shared', broadcasted music then they can simply tune into one of the Habbo fansite's radio station.

if people have slow connections fair enough, how about you can chose the music to be on or off in a room? And maybe people can play there own music or can chose a radio station? We could be on to something lolz
