I'm not an emo, I don't wear make-up, black stuff or w/e they wear, but, I do listen to post-emo music like Coheed and Cambria and Panic! at the Disco. That doesen't make me an emo, because I listen to varied music. I don't have a problem with Emo's though.

EMOtive Harcore is the music, being 'Emo' is a style. So, yes you can be 'emo' and where what has been made into an 'emo' trend.
