Yeah, definately worth picking up... Unless you haven't played the first one, even though they do a decent job of filling you in, it just wouldn't be as good

Well that and the fact that Riku and Mickey join the organisation.

Go get Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories for the GBA. That's the bridge between KH1 and KH2.
