I do not believe it is a good idea for you to talk to him about it to be honest with you... If this boy is not gay, and you spoke to him then you may find your self eating your own words. I know from my own experiences, a 13 year old straight boy would, on most occasions, tell people of what you said because once again, on most occasions, a 13 year old is not mature enough to understand what may come of that.

Or you could just resort to sneakery and slyness to try and find out his sexuality before you do anything rash.
