I would go to Subway but there is none near where I live, no where near. =[
I would love to go though and try one.

I hate Subway. It smells like bins, and I worked out their moneymaking technique.

    1) Sell sandwiches for ridiculous price
    2) Make them taste bad
    3) Have a bin outside the shop so people can throw away remains
    4) Pick out remains at night and sew them together to make more sandwiches
    5) Repeat

I should start a chain of restaurants.

Actually, my friend worked at Subway, so her insight is far more credible than your explanation. The smell of Subway is actually fresh bread being baked (not gotten out of plastic baggies ), and some types of dough tend to have interesting smells.

    1) The food is cheap. Being poor does not make $3.50 expensive.
    2) It depends on what you like. Most people have not accepted food that contains no artificial flavoring and coloring, so that might explain your dislike for their food.
    3) Usually when people leave with their subs, they eat them someplace else. The food supply is always fresh, hence their slogan.
    4) New supplies of toppings are refilled every day before opening.
    5) Etc. ;\
