The fact is, you don't have permission, make your own. Habbos was a unique fansite and was hardly ever taken. By you taking others images, your site is not unique nor good. It looks very similar to Habbos, with or without the images. I would remove them.
    1) The site looks nothing like habbos apart from the colour and the navigation.
    2) As i said i KNOW pez the ex-owner of Habbos from when i used to help around Habbos. so i dont think he will be bothered about 4 icons.
3)If you read my other post im looking to get a new layout as personally i dont like the current one.
4)Dont tell me what i should and shouldnt do.

On a side note how the hell can you tell me not to copy stuff look at the domain in your signature..........

The word "Habbos" is the term for a group of Habbos.

I, infact, happen to know pez more than you do. I am an ex-administrator of the site and he said he will not let ANYONE use his work/icons/images without them paying him first. You, haven't.

    What is a copyright, anyway?
It is a form of intellectual property law. It protects an author or creator from his or her stuff being pirated and used without permission.
Keep in mind though it does not protect the idea, system or method of the information.

    You have STOLEN the images.

Listen mate if you want to be childish then so be it. but nothing you say or do is going to make me remove those 4 tiny icons.
I know he wouldnt let anyone use them without paying. But he also said he would sell the entire source code WITH images for £100 so what the hell would 4 icons cost? id say about 50 pence each give or take a few pence.
And anyone can use wikipedia which im guessing is where you got you copyright definition because a tiny part of it is correct the rest is just stuff you splice into it.
If you want to read more about what i am doing is in no way illegal read the copyright act of 1976.

You say it looks nothing like Habbos.co.uk, I say it does. The shaded bits around the main area of the layout is from Habbos, the icons in the nav (already been said but it is always good to get more people to point it out) and the basic look of it "/

Personally, not being harsh, but it looks like some n00by website owner has seen Habbos and stolen the idea and look and barely editted it to make it look crap.

Actually, for your information, "mate", stealing ANYTHING irregardless of how little or big it is, is stealing and is therefore breaching copyright. Also, getting technical about it, Pez stated that he would sell his entire source for over £250, coming to the end days. So I think your argument is pathetic and I'm sure others will agree that however little something is and it's someone elses work & effort you are ripping.

    EDIT: Thanks Gomme, + rep.

HA there were no shaded parts on habbos it didnt have a border the page filled the entire screen.

Another point for evolution did you get permission to use the icons on habbos.ca from Sulake? i dont think you did nor did any other fansite owner. so whats your big problem here.

Like i said im LOOKING for a new layout as i DO NOT like the current one. i just found it simple to use
