OK, shyper unluckly are shutting down its free hosting.
And you missed of the very best start counter of them all.
http://www.statcounter.com/ its free, no ads on your page, can be invisble, and the reviwers on the left, are if anything understaning how good it is, a single account can run multiple projects, and allow you to track multiple sites. Counter is ealsy configurbale, and u can use the saem counter, both visbly and invibly, on the same site.
Plus you can add uses, with differnt permition levels, as well as transfer projects between accounts, and even make your stats public.......... as you may have noticed it my deffant faverit.
