It's funny to hear people are spending around £20 on Habbo for a peice of furni worth atm about £1.30.

I'm sorry but i would never walk round with a shirt/t-shirt on with Habbo on it.

£2.60 worth of furni. 26 credits, because you get two pieces.

I must say, they are a bit overpriced... unless they are really high quality. You can buy a cheap T-Shirt from Tesco and use some iron-on transfer paper, printing your favourite design on it. When it fades, you have enough cash to do it 2 or 3 more times. Personally, I won't be buying from this merchandise shop, but the novelty will appeal to some. I do think some of the designs are rather funny, but some look plain stupid.

I doubt people will get beat up for them, because the designs model a retro gaming style, which is quite popular at the moment (although I have none myself). My friend has a few Nintendo ones. Yes, some designs are stupid, but a lot of them are thought out, and are purposeful. They won't appeal to all audiences, naturally, but you can't blame Habbo for trying. It's like the Mobile shop (which I again thought was overpriced) - some people will impulse buy at first, which will make up the bulk of the initial sales, and the sales will start to decrease. Obviously, they will still make sales, but very few when compared to the number they will make within the first few days, while the novelty holds strong. Methinks they will use more promotions to encourage people to buy, similar to this one. They've tried it with Habbo Mobile, with the free credits. Ah well...

this is more than a promotion, or sponsership, the new store should be around for a while. Spreadshirt are like cafepress both offer clients to open shops and sell their products but with custom designs and such. They don't take much to open, anyone can do it, even habbox

For anyone interested miniclip also use the spreadshirt service for their store.
    i return..
