I can't see the shark method working...

The best place to try this technique would be edgeville, i spend alot of time there and I often see people trying to sell at 1.1-1.2K. They get some sales but it's very infrequent because many players are happy to sell shark at 1K each.

The seed method is effective but often quite hard to find sellers.

I would try and buy unids at 500-700 each. Identify which herb is which then keep all guams, marrentill and tarromin unidentified. Identify harralander and ranarr. Then go on the forums; sell harralander 1K each and ranarr 7K each. You should also have quite a number of unids above ranarr these sell for 2.3-2.5K each.
(Some of this method may be a bit inaccurate I havent used it for a while)
