    1 word, run. How the last tsumai (sp?) happend is quite amazing, I'm a geek and watched a programm on it, two part of the ground rubbed together causing the ocean floor to raise up quickly, hence the earthquake/ tsumai (sp?)
    On three,

    Ok easiest way to see if a tsunami is coming if you are at sea the sea will be unbelievable flat, and i mean unbelievable flat and the second is if the shore water is getting "sucked" into the sea
