I'm not a fan of it myself, but I would like to back up Dan with this, that it does need padding and I wouldn't center align the text as it brings down the overall web site.

Since im only learning, i couldn't seem to figure how to center the layout. So i was using carls advice of <div align="center"> but that centers the text too -.-/
It isnt a rip off of dans at all. This layout was made when dan was still using his first layout / before he made a layout similar to it. Basically it contains well. "the basics" if it is similar to one than dan has made it is unintentional as these sort of basic layouts are how i've been taught.Last edited by Css; 07-05-2006 at 12:22 AM.

Hmm it is very simple to center your layout:
Put that in your container class.HTML Code:margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;
