I dont really see why they need moderating any way as most of them are only popular if the vip keeps posting in them, its an idea but i dont think its worth it.

I don't think this idea will be put into action, only because I asked if ALL4TECHNICS could be a Moderator in my forum and the admins wouldn't let me ~ however, the admins have changed since then so I don't know.

I mean I like the idea because then it gets more people active in the sub forums etc. I think they let people become moderators on the govteen sub forums. (forums.govteen.com)

However, some of our forum members are quite immature so I can also picture this feature being abused.

From an admin and realistic point of view I think it's pretty impossible. If Members were to ask for another person to be put on their subforum/taken off their subforum every 5 minutes then it would add a huge workload onto the already big workload of VIP Managers.

Plus there's the problem of if members fall out (it happens even if they are best friends at one point) the member might choose to do damage to the subforum they were added as a mod to.

Super Moderators mod the VIP subforums
Also, if anyone could be the moderator of your subforum then it would mean ALOT more work for Admins and it will be pointless really :s

I don't see too many strong reasons against it, there are some but quite honestly the main point is that there really is no reason for it so it was never put into place. I mean if you appoint a moderator to it, they probably won't moderate and how many people honestly moderate their subforums? There really is no need, it only gives people a chance to trash it. We don't add normal mods as VIPs don't like having those people look over them and might prevent the mods from doing their jobs. If necessary a SMod or Admin can sort out problems in VIP subforums.

    Also the points Ash made

Personally I think it would be a good idea but certainly not for Habbox Forum.

I really cant think of any other opposing reasons other than what has been suggested. The idea does seem rather pointless though as the only real moderation powers vip mods really have is the ability to open / close, move or edit threads and posts.

Other than that the Habbox moderation team deal with the rule breaking.

Also it would probably have negative outcomes for the sub-forum user as if they have elected another moderator and like it has been mentioned before they abuse their powers then the time between the damage being caused and when that user is removed as a mod in your forum is too great causing a greater inconvinience to the Vip
