    I think Gary Neville or Rio Ferdinand should. Not just saying because I'm a Manchester United fan.

    Rio more though, since he has the ability to command from the back, whether he's captain or not.

    Gerrard would be good, but I think he'd be taking on too much responsibility.
    Terry, again would be rather immense there, but I feel it'll be a battle between him + Campbell for the central defence place. Rio I feel has settled it already.

    Steven Gerrard, look at what he's done for Liverpool, but i think after World Cup 2006, so we can see what he's like playing international football. Maybe Euro 2008 he should be the captain.. Even if Beckham is still playing for England.
