Um we used to get a pen with the school name on it
Forgive me father, why should you bother?
    Try honesty, try honestly
Hop in your dumptruck, reverse for good luck
Ride over me, ride over me
Take on the whole world, fight with the young girls
    Die tradegy, die tradegy
Call me a cheapskate, c'mon for pete's sake
    Cry agony, cry agony.

We get an award and a strip of fabric with the subject name on, which is sewn onto the blazers under the pocket.

-tries to remember the name- well summit to do with prize awards ceremony thingy...

basically 1 or 2 people from each sunject get a certificate or small trophy for being good at a subject.
people with 100% get a certificate
sport teams get awards and stuff too

hehe infront of maaaany mums and dads.

good thing for me is that ive never been and never had an award.
ive never got 100% attendance before since i was in year 2
and i think im quite intelligant and quite dedicated to stuff but
im never top of the class....
cept in maths where every test cept my modular exam ive been top of the class. but i dont think ill get an award.
plus i wouldnt go either due to the fact i dont like getting up infront of people.

being took out of my "compfort zone" as my science teacher says ^^

We collect tokens to go on a school trip at the end of the year , you have to get summit like 150 in a term , but if we had them for subjects I would defiantly get the maths and science one x]

Our school does book tokens as well for getting the prizes in each subject after prelims. I may have a chance at Geography this year as there is only 6 in my class :p

    We got jack ****.

However the underachievers got either £25 or and 512mb mp3 player if they did well in their exams. Not fair in my eyes

I know what you mean, the people who are thick as planks get rewards for doodling their name on a piece of paper without either setting fire to it or eating it, whereas people who actually do well get nothing, just because we're "supposed" to do well.
