The Wii looks and controls just like the eye toy but with sensors?

The Eye Toy controls games on a 2D plane. It can see movement and interact to it. The Wii controls games at a more sophisticated level. It controls games on a 3D plane and can sense the player based on their location inside a room, how fast the controller is moved, it can sense backward or forward movement (3D plane), and is overall more precise than the Eye Toy.

I saw the full nintendo press conference which was amazing.. I saw a little clip of when the doors open and you see thousands of people running round to Nintendo's booth for a peek at the Wii. I think this will make a big impact on next generation gaming and will definetly be the leading console for 2007.

well this is going to squash all those "Nintendo only does stuff for kids" idiots. not watched the trailer myself but it sounds pretty gorey-ily scary ill force my friend whos gonna get a wii to get it
