    Do you have hosting?

If you do there is a ready made system you can upload by celerondude which will do it all for you..

If not you should try to get some and then use it, if I get my reseller i will give you enough hosting for it.

i do not like that Celerondude one as it has a full panel. I would like a normal one but with an added page that could grab the file list from a directory and display it on a webpage and make them downloadable.

This could be done using MySQL?? When a file is uploaded information containing: File URL for downloading, file name and upload date. Then a page could grab these from the database?

I cannot do this as my coding ability in PHP and MySQL doesnt reach very far...

Also i am only creating a staff area, we pay a company for the website.

I don't know the code, but can't you like make the PHP add to a MySQL lesson plan details and then on another page you can make the PHP read the database to retrieve the data, and then the teachers click the link and then their plans come up?
    goodbye.
