The moderator's picked it up. I was going to buy that sky dragon, but as i was just about to agree in the trades my gates went missing. And i was getting it cheaper...

I dont understand the problem, sky dragons have been given out to a select few habbos who helped out with competitions etc...

So why cant they trade them?

All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. We are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectivly. There is no such thing as death, life is only a dream and we're the imagination of ourselves.

In the past, there have been instances where Moderators have been misinformed, and have picked up an item; under the assumption it was a "stolen" item that should not be in circulation. If it was a gift from Staff, and was taken from that individual, I understand you can send a query in via the Habbo Help Tool; stating details of how it was obtained in the first place, and which Moderator picked it up. I know that people recieved their item back, along with an apology.

If (as in this case) it did not belong to the original owner, I have nothing against it being picked up. If Moderators do not know that the individual in question has that item of furni, they will pick it up. I don't understand why people would want to sell a gift anyway, just because "it's worth a lot". Would you sell your great aunt Tessie's wedding ring, that's kept as a family heirloom, just because it's worth megabucks?

Even if you dont understand why they would trade it, doesnt mean they shouldnt be allowed to, its their furni, given to them by staff, unless they were told to specificly not trade it then i would understand why they are being picked up, however i know this hasnt happened, therefore they have the right to do whatever they want with it. That being trading or deleting its up to them.

It's a dodgey subject, because there's never an official announcement on this sort of thing. Moderators have to keep track of furni allowed in the Hotel. Okay, they sometimes make mistakes; picking up furni that was a quest reward - but I was simply trying to say that if you don't want it picking up by a Moderator, then don't trade for it. Trading for unreleased furniture has its benefits, but also its risks. They may return the furni after checking that it is allowed, but think of it this way:
If a policeman approaches you as you are shooting pigeons with a gun, and you do not have your gun license with you, what does he do? He will take the gun off you until you find your gun license and show him.

It's a precaution, basically. Until the Moderator checks, they have no idea whether that "unreleased" piece of furni is stolen from a Staff account or not, so they take it in the meantime, as a precaution.

Remember, we play by the rules Habbo enforce. If we don't like them, we leave. We have no right to complain, and Habbo Hotel is not a country, it is owned by Sulake, so there is no such thing as free speech. Play their game, with their rules, and be happy.
