No I blatantly wouldn't commit suicide and I wouldn't be as so stupid as to stage the thing by going on msn and saying that.

But then again, she could of just wanted her closest friend(s) to know she was doing it so they would know if she succeeded? I do not know, but i do hope she wasnt serious.

I agree to some extent, as I said... Some people do it for attention, but is it worth ignoring it because you suspect that and then losing your friend?

If she was going to kill herself, she would have done it by now. If anyone is really, trully serious about killing themselves they just do it, they don't make sure everyone knows first then do it.

You need to talk to her and ask her what's making her feel so down and do your best to offer her advice and support her as a friend. You need to re-assure her everyone has their up's and down's in life and it's all part of growing up, but suicide is the easy way out and won't solve her problems, because she can't just keep running away from them.

She needs to face her problems head on and get them dealt with, rather than take her life without resolving them.

If she's not comfortable speaking to you about the problems she's facing, or if she is but you maybe need to give her some advice, you could get in touch with Childline, who offer a free and confidential service for children in the UK, where she will be able to have a one-to-one chat with a proffesional who can offer her the advice she need's.

Which too me isnt attention seeking, id want my closest friend too know if i was going to commit suicide, should i ever, because they would be worried about you. Maybe thats what she did. By telling people she's going to commit suicide, it get's her the attention she needs, whereas if she genuinly simply wanted her life over she would just take her life and be done with it.

Also, if shes saying shes going to cut her wrists... whats the point? That would be one of the most painful and slowest ways of death, whereas she could simply walk in front of a train and have it over instantly.

And shes probably only told Vicks!, as i said, shes probably telling her because 1. Shes close im guessing 2. She would be worried if she wasnt on for over a year 3. She wants to say her final words.
I do not know, but thats what im guessing. And if she hasnt commited suicide, thats a good thing, because suicide should be taken seriously, attention seeking or not, it could still be serious.

if they were to commit suicide I know for a fact that I wouldn't post it on a forum asking for help but hurry the hell over to their house and run as fast as possible or whatever making sure I took my mobile phone if needed.
