Not really, he's just trying to not come across to people as something he isn't and that's fine. It's not really over-defensiveness. Anyway, I see this a lot as everyone else does, so not really big news.

Yea thats glitch allright.
Maybe in the future save your pictures like that in a different format (eg: php or gif) because then your pictures wont look like that one there.

That happens all the time to me, one time this guy looked to be stood on this guys head, I was kinda scared
