hitting girls: right or wrong?

By law, it is not right. Men were brough up learning that hitting girls is wrong. But what if a girl hits you? What if she is abusing you? Then by law you have the right to hit back.

I feel hitting anyone for no reason is wrong. Unless you are defending yourself, then you shouldnt be hitting anyone.

Depends if they are constantly hitting me and are hard to distinguish between a girl. If the girl who was hitting me is some bossy, female dog like girl, I would slap/nudge/push her repeatedly to knock some sense into her, but if she was gentle and a 'nice' girl, then I won't. Nice meaning she is normally a friendly person and is only angry at you for some strange, unknown reason.

How can you think about harming someone that is or resembles someone you care about? You want to live with a woman yet you choose to hit them? Effing wrong if you ask me "/ Say if we were to get into the position where we'd be getting raped or attacked by a female,get the hell out of there. Firstly, with the hit something you care about. I would be sort of worried if you do not care for anyone of the same sex, like your friends, so if you hit someone who is the same sex, you are hitting someone that resembles your friends?

Secondly, most women have major differences than a normal woman. So when you look at your mother, you are seeing someone you care sexually about? And wouldn't it be a bit strange if you looked at a girl who was attacking you and thought "she resembles my girlfriend" OR "I might marry this girl one day?"

Yes it is morally wrong and the legal system is a bit crap in places, but why would you hit a girl who was attempting **** or attacking you when you can simply push her gently out the way or put her into a position where she cannot hit you or something e.g. holding her hands in one hand? From what I remember, you cannot get bruises from doing that, and she might be looked upon as insane screaming to the police "He tried torape me, look at my none existent bruises!"

Besides, self defence isn't necessarily about violence, most situations can be avoided by simply talking. If a woman was to attack you, just dodge them and say "Leave me alone" and if she continues, walk away or repeat "Leave me alone." If she is far to stupid to leave you alone, walk away!

No it's not always on a sexual context and -hypothetical question- also say if you were going out with a girl and this girl is perfect,but she is utterly hammered one night and starts getting lairy[sp?] and starts just hitting you for some bewildered reason[nothing hard] would you hit her back? I for heck know I wouldn't I'd probably let her cool/calm down and sober up.

Legal system is pretty crap in alot of places And that's what I was saying when a girl attempting ****/attacking you, there is other solutions than hitting them! But some people resort to hitting them which can give bruises,I didn't say holding her hands with one hand to stop her would give her bruises cos I agree that is a good method to use. But as I said some men hit back usually in the face in which case a female could bruise and say to the police "He tried to **** me" in which case the man would go down for defending himself.

This topic wasn't really about self defence though,more aobut hitting a female. And yes there are far better methods instead of violence e.g talking which I totally agree with. I agree with this paragraph actually.
