There was something about Kate Lawler from one of the early BB's getting drunk and licking chocolate off peoples fingers in the news yesterday, like anybody cares? Everyone gets pissed and does something a bit mad every now and again, whereas a war is a bit more important. I know there have been tensions around the Gaza Strip area for years, but as far as I know nothing this severe for a long time.

That actually is a good point. Priorities do seem very skewed in the news which often skews the viewer's perception of what is more important. The Iraq war should be making the US front page every day, but its not. Probably because people are sick of it/bored of it/hear it every day/want to get away from it. Newspapers' jobs are to print what news people want to read about, and I find it obsurd sometimes what people want to read about.

I hate this time of year, everytime I look at a newspaper theres something about BB on the frontpage. It doesn't even have to be about what's happening inside the house, it could be about one of the ex-housemates.

Haha, probably, knowing the shit the papers print these days. The media is a horrible tool, if a newspaper kicks up a fuss about something, such as terrorism, everybody gets scared. Terrorism in the UK now is no worse, infact it's better, than the last 30 years, but people seem more scared.

In the US, you hear about Israel hiting Lebanon, and vice versa.
We have like 50 news Channels though, some are democratic, some are conservative, depends where you live.
