lol it is
It depends why you got it.
Usually 6 recent usernotes resulted in a ban.

There is no limit at all. Not even an advised limit. You will only be banned if a Super Mod or Admin looks at your infractions and thinks you've done so many in a short space of time that you deserve a ban.
Otherwise it would be unfair if you had 9 infractions then were good for 2 months then got 1 infraction and got banned.
The ban system is the same as it was with usernotes.
Preety much what the ogre in the quote said. There is no limit at all. Not even an advised limit. You will only be banned if a Super Mod or Admin looks at your infractions and thinks you've done so many in a short space of time that you deserve a ban.

It all depends, we dont have a set limit and dont believe in one. As the infraction system is only really used for logging offences it would be unfair if we had a limit on the number you can get.
We will ban if you are collecting stupid numbers of infractions within a short space of time as we consider this as ignoring a moderators warning or if what you are doing is causing such a disruption or is violating a very serious rule.
Personally if I see a user has been infracted several times for similar reasons on several posts / threads within a set time limit by which they could have read and heed a mods warning I will issue a ban.
The infraction system is just the updated system on the usernotes system.
