When running away from people head towards where monsters auto-attack, most pkers aren't experienced enough to go around them, so run away whilst they are fighting greaters etc.
Don't waste space on runes, If you choose to teleport take a ring of life and hope to get below level 20 before you get killed.
Don't pk alone/ Always have at least one other person with you, preferrably higher/around the same level, this way when a pker comes, unequip weapons and fight one another, this way you can both run away whilst still fighting each other.
Don't get upset if you lose. I am level 123, and i lose a lot of the time, if you are scared of losing, don't pk, stick to duelling, that way you can choose what you lose, or if you want to kill other players and get rewards, try castle wars.
Don't try and be clever.
Don't be silly and take 10m with you just to show you're hard, If you lose, you will feel awful, don't be put off by pictures you see of leaders wearing party hats with a skull, They only wear that because they have 40-50 loyal friends around them, that will own anyone and give it back if the leader does die.
