I'll explain their system of RV's very quickly at the time I was a trial RV-reporter.
Several reporters post their list of several rares in a forum.
Then the manager(s) of RV take an average of them all.
Offcourse, silly posts like: 1 CS for a throne will not be calculated into that average.
Then the average is showed on the page. Habbox does not set these values.
The people interpretate them as the rare values.
I personally didn't know Habbox till about a year ago and used my own values.
(I remember trading my samovar for some norms at the time I just joined Habbo.)
So accusing Habbox of setting the values is wrong, it is you who should be accused of making such an insinuation and trying to cause a rebellian versus Habbox.

I do think that it is a very sad state of affairs to think that most of the Habbo population cannot trade without having to quote a website. Being told that you're ripping the person of 0.1HC Sofas is indeed they most annoying thing that goes on in a trade room (closely followed by being offered amazingly "pure" HCs).

With the so-called messiah of a site Habboxic rising up as a strong contender for an official fansite - despite being incredibly poorly presented and most of it's features being "under construction" - they too are implementing a rare value set-up which is akin to that of Habbox in a very uncanny fashion. Again I find this very unfortunate...

As I have said many times before, the only progress that can be made for these rare value structures (if they must exist) to give greater diversity in trading is to employ a maximum/minimum approach.

    Eg. (Minimum) 15HC <---- Throne ----> 16.5HC (Maximum)

No need to point out that these aren't the correct values, it's just an example.

    Thanks, Bear-Max.

To the people that talked about habbox setting the prices. The throne was being traded at 17.5 - 18 hcs around a month ago, i am an experienced trader on habbo and not once did i see someone trade for 16 - 16.5. Then all of a sudden, habbox drops the price of thrones, what happens? thrones are now being sold at 16. Then habbox drops the price to 15.5 and people trade for 15. Habbox is NOT an accurate way of pricing rares because you influence the traders in habbo wayyyy too much. You may not exactly "set" the prices, but when you drop a price for no apparent reason, habbo follows and you feel justified that you did a good job.

It is true, i'm just speaking for the people that think that habbox is ****** the people trying to profit and you go and ***** the system up. When i was a noob i knew nothing about habbox, so i asked my friends for the values that they thought were right for rares, so i traded for those prices. Those prices were most likely influenced by you, so in effect, you are ******* up the prices in habbo.

I'm bringing up the subject because its okay you pricing lesser rares, but when you start to influence the price of thrones, which in effect changes the price of super rares, which messes up profits, which trickles down to mess up the noobs again. If you take the throne out of the rare trades guide then i think you will help habbos ALOT because you say your here to help the noobs, well guess what, noobs don't have thrones, so you don't really have to have the throne in there now do you?

Hmm errors can happen. Beside, it can be due to the main changements of prizes that happened in Habbo Hotel.

The throne started to go down when it was in the catalog for that short time acidently. When people saw the throne went down they thought they would trade all there thrones just in case they go down a lot more.
Because there was more thrones out there which people were tradeing the price went down.

The throne is going to keep going down, and it started going down before habbo messed up and released the super rares in the catalog so shhhh that person. Also, if habbo gives thrones out as prizes that doesn't change the price because its not like they give out 200 thrones, because that would change the price, they maybe give out 1 or 2 per week

I go by my own rules, if they say 'I go with Habbox's prices' I tell them Habbox or any other site for that fact does not have the right values, none do, either my way or the high way.

Yes, that may be so, (in reply to guy above) but Habbox affects the rare trading in habbo so much that it pretty much cripples individualists who go by their own prices. Go try and sell a throne for 18 hcs right now and i BET you that you won't get anyone dumb enough to buy. Why is this? This is because habbox reported a lower price than was actually real and the ****** on habbo followed them.
