If you really like her, do something about it, or your going to get trapped into some 'just friends' sprial which you cant get out off.

I disagree that he is 'cowardly'. Not everyone has the guts and confidence to go up and ask people out, especially if they've never done it before and stuff it can be quite a daunting experience, but it really is all mind over matter and the sooner you start, the better and easier it becomes for you later in life.

At the end of the day, the worst the person can do is say no, which isn't the end of the world in any way at all! As they say - there's plenty more fish in the sea! ;]
