    No, because when you're standing youre going the same speed as the train, so when you jump, your going along with it.

    But turning is different. If you jump while youre taking a turn, youll move to the side because you arent in the original position in your center of gravity.

    Weird, eh?

    If you were literally on top of the train you would move back, but if you was inside the train you would stay where you are.

    Yeah, it's kinda been explained, you jump at the speed of the train. It's like if you jump in a lift, it won't be any different.

    That happens to me too when I stand on buses. When the bus speeds up you start to move backwards a little but then it stops you start to move forward, weird.
