America may get them first, but they play the episodes when they're ready. In season 2 there was a 5 week gap between 2 episodes. Unlike in the UK We have to wait for all of them to be made, before we play any of them.
So in the USA, they might get like 3 episodes, then have like 2-5 week gaps in between episodes. Which would annoy me.
UK Version is better, even though we got to wait longer

Think about it. Desperate Housewives season 3 coming spring. So thats late January
Then 20 episodes later LOST comes on. Makt that 17 for the over-lap. So from January it's 17 weeks till lost. So yes april..
