The way i look at life is this...
Those who matter don't mind
And those who mind don't matter...
I live by that rule, but it's up to you. People can be so nasty sometimes and unaccepting, if you think that in the long run, youl be unhappy then nuh. If you think itl b a weight off your shoulders then yuh, do it.
Theres always going to be some rseholes who aint going to accept you, it just depends on if your going to let them upset you or if your a strong enough person to deal with it. If you aint now, then don't worry, your still young, you will be one day babes 3

If you have quite a strong skin and could take people calling you things, Etc.. for a few weeks (Homophobic people:rolleyes then go for it, But if you have quite sensitive feelings then don't..

When I did, I had people saying stuff to me for weeks.
You just have to make it clear that you don't care what they think about your sexuality

- Laughing and having a joke at their comments usually works.
Even if its not remotly funny, It shows that you don't care about what they think.
