As far as I was aware, the servers were located in Finland, so they can easily be accessed by the techies. It is a Saturday, and very few UK Staff work on a Saturday, aside from Disarno who does a weekend Player Support shift, if I remember correctly.

I find it unlikely that this is an update for the next Habbo client, on the grounds of the timing, and no notice given. Usually we are given at least "The Hotel will be down from X to X for routine maintenance". Plus, it is usually on a weekday. I would suspect the server has crashed, and/or been reset. It is worth noting that the server does crash on a regular basis, and if we are going to get a thread like this every single time it goes down... I'll be sick of v10/11 before it arrives.
