See, instead of using awful basic blue, go slightly greyer. I think it makes it look so much better and more subtle :eusa_ange

EDIT: You also need less of a contrast between your shading, shining and basic colours.

Wow thanks for proving me wrong.

Very good atempted then but it looks fuzzy to me. I think if you follow Minix's advice it will look cool. 8/10 for effort anyway.
