I hate "You cant have your cake and eat it too". It makes no sense at all. Does that mean you can eat your cake, but not have it? God that annoys me.
But yeah, my parents have said that one.

I got reaaally drunk about 3 years ago and came in at 6am. My dad was there shaking his head. I was like 'Please shout or ground me' but no, he keeps on shaking..
I never hear it from my parents really, I've heard lots of people use it though.
