Dads... why bother?

I dislike my dad for breaking the trust i had with him a while ago..never forgive him for what he did.

my father abuses us all, hes a womanizer... everytime he comes home drunk, he'll hit my mum and us... when my mum didnt give him money when he asked for it, he'll hit her again. he brings home women all the time. now theyre divorced and i havent seen him for like almost a decade.

my mum remarried. finally i get fatherly love from my stepfather. he died like 2 years ago, because of cancer

i hate my father. what he did was just horrible.
my stepfather, not my flesh and blood, cares alot bout us.
now that hes gone, ive lost another father. im glad i lost my real father but it sucks to see my stepfather go.

Ok so basically Im gonna start with this "I hate my father"

I had my iPod on OK and I couldn't hear my mum shouting me, so my dad comes upstairs and bangs on my door and says "Your mums been shouting your name for the past 5 minutes and don't act like you can't hear her" I frickin couldn't!!!

So to take my anger out I smacked the wall repeatedly until my fathers head dissapeared from my mind. I then went downstairs and told him where to go and that my hatred for him will never stop. So he throws his bowl of frickin muesli at me!

Now I'm going to have a huge black mark on my face when I hand my CV in to various shops/garages at Traff Centre!

Anybody else feel their father is like your landlord and not a guy who'll take you to the football games or talk to you about cars and girls? Or for the girls d'you feel he's not bothered about you coming in late from a party or stuff like that?

Read the first post that I was reffering to and you will see he never said anything about his father hitting his mother? I wasn't reffering to anyone that said that they hate their dad for hitting and other serious things. I don't consider myself to be an expert so try not to be so immature.

My Dad never had a dad when he was 3 his dad died of cancer. This is why I think my dad trys his best to make our family happy. Hes the best dad ever hes buying me my first car he took me to football and I see him as my best mate. He started off as a cashier at our local bank and is now the operations Directer at some merchant bank somewhere which to me shows how much he worked his butt off for us and its because of him I have this nice and comfortable life style . I Love my Mum & Dad and will do forever

My dad never hits me, hes loving spoils me silly and hes always there for me, like when i was hit by a car just last week he gave me a tablet ran me a bath and fed me chip shop food, ourbond is the strongest ever, just isolate yourself from your parents for a few weeks, hell eventually feel sorry for you. Your bond will grow.
