Myspace is a pain in the **** to work with # gets filted so you cant grab any page layers etc, js is filtered, anything linking out is filtered... etc etc. So your in for a big headache in acheaveing much with it.
The easiest, yet least useable way, is just shove a big layer on the top and build what you want from scratch, but the active page content is then lost. The only targeting mechnism ive found to work requres use of a load of css3 elements only firefox currently supports "/

The main method of createing parrel pages, is just complex browser hacks. Aka you break it, but in a way which gives you the result you want, The downside is w3's server would exsplode if it tryed to validate the code you end up with, Any web standards of proper code is out the window when u enter myspace.
    Just an opinion
