The PS3 is factually the most advanced and best actual console, but I haven't played it so I can't say what I think is the best for me.

I like how you call it the most 'factually advanced' followed by an opinionated thought; "best actual console". "/

Clearly expressing and understanding correct thought via composition isn't your strongest suit, so I've brought pictures. Maybe they'll communicate a word or two to you.

The PS3's claim to fame is it's Cell processor, which provides for more floating point streaming, and it's raw power, meaning not only will it be potentially great, but it's proved to be useless when rendering graphics. The only other advantage I can think of is brand loyalty, which has proved that Sony fanboys are far more loyal to overrated products than any other group. (Source)

So in the end the Playstation will probably win, not because of technical superiority, but because of fanboys who can't get off the bandwagon.
