First of all to get a pair of shoes cos they're fashionable is pretty stupid, you should be an individual and not follow the trend. Just get a pair of shoes that you like and aren't exactly fashionable, e.g a certain pair of shoes with a good brand name that aren't like converse. If you wear converse people will pretty much think "Eww emo/scene kid" on their first impression.
And second of all I should think that you would be best off getting shoes you want based on your opinion, not by asking a bunch of losers off a forum. At the end of the day it's your decision and you shouldn't let anyones biased opinions choose for you, once again you are an individual I am sure you can choose to buy them or not. So buy the shoes/don't buy the shoes based on YOUR opinion, not other peoples.

yeah so all the little "scene kids" are wearing them these days, but they have no idea what's in fashion, because, if sit and actually look at them for a little while, you start to realise that they are infact the ugliest shoes ever. £30/40 for something my baby brother coulda made? a bit of plastic with some canvas over it and a circle at the side with some guys name. oh ya, and as soon as it rains your feet are soaked.

yet you'd happily where adidas or some other brand that cost £60-£120 and cost probably the exact same amount to make and probably exploited more people. HMMM
