Well, people were complaining about there not being enough rares coming out, so it seems like they've kicked it into overdrive. You're right though, they're releasing way too many lately... & none of the recent rares are that great either.

Yeah, they should release normals, rather than rares.
    Notes; amazing.

I personally think all the stuff were getting is great and by 2008 imagine the choice people will have
But in todays habbohotel, there is just too much choice. its getting ridiculous..

A Rare is something that is no longer availible, that means that Black Dragons are rares because you can no longer purchase them.

Go and Runescape and there are Hundreds of Items, If Sulake stopped making things then people would get bored and Sulake would lose money.

Yes, but maybe they should get a different name for 'rares' for example, RuneScape doesn't have the name rare. They just have values and categories for their items as does the catalog. Maybe Habbo should seperate them too.

The orginal plan was to release a rare every month and leave it in for two weeks. This idea has kind of fizzled out and now they release rares to coincide with special events and in a haphazard manner, I might add. The pattern for rare values is a simple up and down wavelength and all rares increase in value over time. There is no specific cutoff point when something isn't 'rare' which is why the concept of this thread is flawed. Rares are rarer than norms and also rarer than seasonals; hence the name. Releasing a rare doesn't make the ones released before it any less rare; I don't understand why Habbo releasing many different rares has any correlation with rares becoming 'less' rare. As for there being more rares than normals, that's not Habbos fault. Rares are priced higher yet people still buy more rares than they do normals. It's very easy to make profit by purchasing a just released rare and selling it before they drop a day or so after release. It's the whole cycle where the root of the issue lies. It is Sulakes responsibility as a corporation to keep their profits as high as they can without jeapordizing their success and continued success. The institution of rares was a good idea and they shouldn't be held at blame for capitalizing on the premise.

There is more Area on the Hotel than Red Dragons, Smoke Machines etc, the only reason you can't find any is because most people don't display it and some of it is on Accounts that are no longer active. people don't want to sell Area and certain norms because they most likely bought it with Credits for a reason.

"Rares" are now only rare for those people who can't affored them!
People with HCs can't really tell the difference, they get free rares every month!

the new rares - rubbish most of them are all under 1hc
apart from 1ns that are in cat for like 10mins - i.e strobe solirum thingy
