    Xmas wasn't first made as an abbreviation, it was for non-religious people who wanted the presents and fun even though they didn't believe in the festival. It takes the 'Christ' out of Christmas :rolleyes:

    i dont use it in any religous way.. i just type xmas coz its quicker & easier to type, and i think most people use xmas for the same reason tbh

    Xmas is just the short form of christmas. :rolleyes: Anyway I usually say christmas, although I'm not christian.
