'12 line rule'

The thing is, more than 12 lines is way too much. Here's the length of 25 lines, from here....

























to here. Now that doesn't seem so large, but say someone had a 300 pixel height image. That's like what, about this large.



So like 15 lines in itself.

Put that together and you already have a lot of space taken up. Additionally, if people use quotes 3 lines becomes larger than that.

For people who say don't allow BB Code to be counted, we do have the limit for BBs higher. There is a limit for characters then a limit for characters with BB Code, that's not likely to be hit unless you have like alternating colors for every single letter or something.

well whatever happens, it is way to small at the moment. and the bb markup or w.e and i always hit the limit for characters & bb code there shouldn't be a limit. 1000 character limit not incld. bb code :]

The first thing you said isn't possible :p

Erm and there's ways to cut down on the BB code though I can see your point, maybe get rid of the BB code thing, or just raise it alot, but remember the BB code does also take up space as the forum has to log that formatting, so we can't just make it nonexistant. However raising the limit with code might be a fair option.

Create a new rule which says you cant have images over 'x' :]or you'll be infracted double the points. (Stops people doing it.!)

I hate the character limit and the lines thing, the piccy in my sig takes up so much room, and I can't really have that great of a signature.
