Actually it makes a sense. I dont know where I stand on the whole alcohol issue. Id probably say lower it back to 18 though. Because you can join the Army and die for your country when youre 18, but you cant have a beer? Also, having it at 21 makes kids want to try harder drugs. Since drinking beer is illegal for them anyway, why not try pot? Theyre going to do SOMETHING. But then when it's at 18, it makes it easier for really young kids to get it.

But either way, its extremely common for kids to drink under 21, (my brother does it all the time) and as a matter of fact, many cops dont care. At least until someone gets hurt. You cant go to the bar and order a drink, but if you go to a party with beer, you most likely wont get in trouble.

in october '07 UK law is being changed to; you have to be 18 to buy cigarettes.

Lighters and matches have already gone up to 18, at least where I am. Well annoying.
