That isn't a logo really, more like text. I suppose it could be classed as a logo but I would say a logo is a more like a icon.

I agree its a logo but its shortened down from Federal Express. Your right but having your site url with a font I wouldn't class as a awesome logo.

Let me exaplin.

If you use text as a logo, then it has to look good. Not some crap attempt at changing text to look like a logo, just because you are incapable of using a pen tool on Illustrator

Thats not always right, take the coca-cola logo, its just text, logos mainley feature on a picture, or a type of text, but that isnt a font that you would use for a logo, you need one that would never go out of fashion, becuase then you won't have to change it, and people will recocnise your company more.
