i know people will eat me for this, but i think +44 > blink
but that's my opinion
Mark Hoppus is a more talented musician than you could ever be, so quit your whining. I don't think that Blink went downhill atall when they got Travis instead of Scott, I mean for one Travis isn't as bad drinker as Scott[the reason he was kicked out of the band was for his drinking problem]. I do think they sorta changed sort of lyric-wise etc. Sure they still made plenty of jokey songs but Blink matured especially in TOYPAJ & Blink 182. Plus Travis is a much more talented drummer than Scott, even though Scott was a damn good drummer!
-Eats- I think you used a wrong statement with the '>' sign. Possibly in your opinion +44 may be better than Blink 182{your opinion would be wrong anywho} but they don't 'own' them or are better than them. Sure +44 have come up with some great stuff already & have got some pretty talented musicians but they are not better than Blink. Blink had a huge impact on the music industry - they basically revived a poppunk era & sure they got alot of slack about '14 year old girls listening to it' but they didn't make their music exclusive "/ Blink 182 acheived alot & Mark, Tom & Travis all matured whilst in Blink 182. Therefore {and I know this may sound obvious} without Blink 182, +44 wouldn't have Mark & Travis like they are today. Blink 182 didn't just write jokey songs but in alot of their songs they wrote lyrics which people(alot of teens) can/could relate to at the time. Blink 182 were and still are one of the most influential bands of Pop-Punk.
