making a pure...

Prayer completely varies. If you planning on using ancients then you will have at least to get 11 prayer. Prayer levels that are common for str pures to get are:
13 - First str prayer. <- Normal get this after getting 11 prayer from priest in peril.
25 - Protect item :x.
31 - Ultimate str.
34 - Can use the attack bonus prayer too. (More common lately).
43 - Al protection prayers. (37 mage, 40 range, 43 melee).
52 - Smite.

im planning on going for a range/mage pure, not sure whether i will be using ancients or not, so i guess i should get 11 prayer just incase?

although if i go for high levels in all combat areas, then i will need a higher prayer level >.< so many decisions to make :eusa_wall


ok.... i know im probably getting annoying now...but 1 last favour...

could some people who do have str, mage or range pures post their stats, & combat level, it might help me make up my mind on what to do

ive got to my target of 20 mage before doing some skilling on my main for a bit, so heres an update of my stats so far:

5 attack
5 strength
1 defence
8 ranged
20 mage
15 hp
1 prayer

combat level - 13




gonna do some skilling on my main for a bit, then maybe go for 40 on my pure tomorrow or in a few days :eusa_danc

hmmm, would it be worthwhile getting 20 def on my pure so i can wear full mystic?

Heck yes, if your a pure mage, full mystic would definatly help.

I suggest prayer 43. I'm not sure if maging and ranging will affect other people's prayer if you use smite. Someone else confirm that.

If your raise your attk by 1 by accident, its not completly ruined. Its just that your combat level is now higher.

my combat lvl goin up because of duelling etc wont bother me, i cant stay at the same combat lvl forever.

yes it would it also makes it easier to train and allows the wearing of initate once uve done quest
