1. Don't call me a nub.. I was just warning/informing you.
2. They find out because apparently they have some sort of tracker on VB (which is why they are bringing out a lot of new versions lately) and VB find out as soon as someone installs it.
They check if you have a licence and if you don't... BOOM, their lawyers are onto you.
