why would they spend money putting one of those into the console just to make it break?
what are they gunna gain from that?

More money, popular console, everyone wants one, no proof they are the ones causing the problems and they can do what they want with it really, if proof does appear that they are causing the problems then they are in a big hole that will quickly fill up with law suits by the dozens, if this is true it's because they expect people to buy one, it'll mess up so they buy another, it'll just be a typical scam, I've had mine for a week now and it occassionally freezes, it is stupidly loud alot of the time aswell I'm thinking of contacting Microsoft about it

I got mine when it came out, no problems what so ever.

i've had mine since early september and, touch wood, I have had no real problems. Friend of mine has had the 3 red lights though.

My friend got his for Christmas the year it came out, unwraped it Christmas morning plugged it in put his game in 30Minutes later.. Flames, flames coming from the back of his 360.

I have had one since Christmas this year no problems at all so far.
