But he probably wanted to make sure everyone who needed to get in, could get in, as well as so nobody could listen in, or get in accidentally.

Obviously the MIKA and girls aloud business are likely to come to habbo as l_w said. The fansite drop-in public room is a possiblity, fansites being included on homepage and newsletters, forum for fansite owners, err room over-ride for fansites owners. There's lots more as well.
