Maintained or not that doesn't mean that we have laid track sutible for high speeds, simply put our rail service isn't up to standards.

I get the train everyday and the track my train goes on you can hear all kinds of squeeking noises from he track it makes ya think are we safe on our trains?

THATS WHY I WAS DELAYED i went to newcastle yesterday and the train was arriving from whithaven and it said there was a fatality! it was so close to were i live [Carlisle]

Yeah I heard Carlisle station was in a mess, was thinking of going to Penrith and have a poke but it was too wet.
