Is your firewall blocking it?
Close down swiftswitch turn your firewall off then restart the program see if ti works, if it works turn your firewall back and and then change the firewalls settings to allow you to use swiftsearch while your firewall is turned on.

Did you try looking at your firewall as I said earlier?
If it's not your firewall I have no idea what it could be.
I would suggest giving up on SwiftSwitch and just using the normal runescape browser.

another alternative is to download the runescape client from the website. ive never used it myself so i cant say how good/bad it is
