Absolutley, the ACP is far better designed, the co-founder and coder has a freaking awesome haircut and the forum coding is sweet.

Also, IPB is a LOT more user-friendly for both the user and the admin/moderators.

Templates are such a breeze to edit in IPB and in vBulletin they are so much harder.
I also agree on the Admin CP comment. I LOVE the new admin CP.

i could say:

kids think ipb is cool, so they use it
kids think phpbb is cool, so they use it

no. its because vb is a popular forum on the market. look at the sucess? habboxforum for one? yes, doesnt ALWAYS bring you sucess, these kids you say, maybe use a vb because they have worked on a vb forum before, and maybe are use to the vb.
